A psychic vampire, sure. A blood-drinking undead creature of the night, not so much. You can dress like a vampire, identify as part of the vampire subculture, even drink small amounts of blood (please be safe when doing this), but physically you will remain human.
You are correct, Draq. I do apologize for not clarifying this point in my earlier posts. The ones after 2019 are the ones I began saying you cannot become physical vampires to rectify the confusion. Psi vampires are usually born, and there are those who argue you cannot become them, but it is just an energy technique. Those who are born psi vampires do not realize they are draining others energy and need to learn control. If you improve on your energy work, you can learn how to tap into others energy and drain it. I suppose you could argue a spell is not required, but you could do an affirmation before practicing to improve your skills.
As for dressing like a vampire, again, you can. Nobody will stop you. As long as you are safe and not hurting anyone, do whatever you want. It is when you spread misinformation I have a problem. You could dress like a vampire, safely consume blood, safely preform blood Magik, and work with astral vampires in your craft. All of these things are totally plausible. Physically transforming into one of these Dracula vampires, however, is complete nonsense and does not happen no matter how much you whine and complain it can.

You can't become a physical vampire. Magick on the physical plane is an energy found in nature. It brings natural change because it's ruled by nature. Vampires [like the ones this spell is referring to] aren't physical beings. They're astral. You can work with them in your craft like Dragons, faeries, deities, and other spiritual beings. You can't physically transform into one, however, because it contradicts natural law. You're a physical being. You're human. Vampires are astral beings. Magick is energy, which affects energy to bring desired change. Since magickal energy is part of nature, these changes can't contradict nature. Humans can't decide to physically transform from human to another creature by nature, which is why a spell won't work. It contradicts nature. [that said, there are psi vampires, emotional vampires, and people with animal spirits. Those are physical beings, but they're humans. They just have spiritual abilities. They drain spiritual energy. They aren't immortal or drink blood or turn into bats or whatever else that's associated with mythological vampires]
